COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to introduce students to fundamental economic concepts, the comparative economic systems, the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, and the decision making of individuals, firms and governments. The students will be given an opportunity to analyze the study of choices. These choices are often financial, but they may extend beyond the realm of "money", to concerns about quality of life, happiness and success. Subsequently, the bulk of the work in this class is designed to develop the students’ ability to understand the complexity of the economic, political and social world around them. | COURSE OBJECTIVES This course will be based on the criteria in the Georgia Performance Standards. - Pre test
- Preview of videos and accessories used in class.
- Introduction of homework assignment: 8/9 - 8/13
- Student will begin homework assignment in class. Students have a series of videos to watch and outline on USAtestprep. Video outlines must be turned in the next time we meet. Each video must be outlined.
